„FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS AND MEDICAL LAW“

The Institute for the State and the Law – Bulgarian Academy of Sciences is pleased to announce its hosting of a one-day international conference on the topic of ‘Fundamendal rights and medical law’, which will take place on 26 May 2021 (Wednesday) in Sofia, Bulgaria.
The conference will focus on fundamental rights in the fields of healthcare, medical law, bio-law and bioethics, as well as medical legal issues in civil, public, criminal and international law.
The conference will be presented Bulgarian and English.
The conference will be held in compliance with all anti-epidemic measures in a hybrid format - both with the possibility of personal attendance and online access. The exact venue of the conference will be announced in the program.
All papers admitted to the scientific conference will be published after approval by the editorial board.
Participation fee:
The participation fee for an auditor: 30 lv.
The participation fee for a participant, presenting a report:
Early-bird rate: 30 lv. before 17.04.2021
Regular rate: 50 lv. from 17.04.2021 to 10.05.2021
Payment is made by bank transfer to the account of the Institute of the State and the Law-BAS at UniCredit Bulbank, Batenberg branch - Sofia, IBAN: BG46 UNCR 9660 3119 9026 14, BIC: UNCRBGSF. The basis for the payment should be: “participation in the international conference ‘Fundamental Rights and Medical Law‘”.
Registration:
An application for participation (according to the attached form) should be sent by 10.05.2021 to the official e-mail address of the conference - medicallawconference@gmail.com An abstract of the report must be attached to the application in Bulgarian and English (according to requirements below), as well as a scanned copy of the payment document of the participation fee. The submitted applications are subject to assessment by the Organizing Committee regarding their compliance with the announced requirements. The approved applicants will receive an explicit confirmation. The final program of the conference will be sent to the participants on 17.05.2021.

Reports should be in Bulgarian or English.

Font: Times New Roman; Font Size: 12 pt; Font style: Italic; Line Spacing: Single; Alignment: Justified.
Requirements for report’s main text:
Maximum of 15 pages, including tables, figures and bibliography.
