ORDER No. РД-09-29

In connection with the decision adopted by the National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria to declare a state of emergency for a period of one month, from 13 March to 13 April 2020, point 1, item 6 of Order No RD-01-124/13.03.2020 of the Minister of Health, and in pursuance of Orders No I-64/13.03.2020 and No I-65/13.03.2020 of the President of BAS,

I HEREBY ORDER

1. The planned events in the meeting room of the ISL at BAS are cancelled.

2. The announced in-person attendance days for the scholars at the ISL are cancelled.

3. Access by external persons to the premises used by the Institute for the State and the Law in the BAS building at 4 Serdika Street, Sofia, is prohibited. The only exception is access to the Office by prior arrangement on tel. 02 987 4902 and 0878 891135.

4. From 13.03.2020 to 13.04.2020, scholars and staff shall perform their duties remotely by means of information technologies, determining their own breaks within the working day. Where necessary, they must be available during the established working hours. During working hours, a member of the administration shall be on duty at the ISL.

5. Meetings of the governing bodies of the ISL shall be held remotely. Only by way of exception may a meeting be held in person.

6. All ISL staff members returning from abroad who have been in the areas and countries affected by COVID-19 shall observe a 14-day quarantine period.

7. Business trips of scholars and doctoral students, both in Bulgaria and abroad, are suspended.

This Order shall be automatically extended should the state of emergency be extended by decision of the National Assembly.

This Order shall be published on the website of the ISL and brought to the attention of staff, scholars and doctoral students for information and compliance.
