Prof. Bertil Cottier visited the Institute for the State and the Law

On 9 October 2024, Prof. Bertil Cottier, Chair of the European Commission against Racism and Intolerance of the Council of Europe, visited the Institute for the State and the Law. Prof. Irena Ilieva, PhD, Director of the ISL, presented the mission, objectives and activities of the Institute to the guest. Prof. B. Cottier showed great interest in the scholars' research, including the training of doctoral students. He spoke about the work of the European Commission against Racism and Intolerance. The meeting was attended by Prof. N. Yonkova, PhD, Deputy Director of the ISL, Assoc. Prof. P. Bonchovski, PhD, Scientific Secretary, Assoc. Prof. M. Tien, PhD, the young scholars – Chief Assist. Prof. P. Topurov, PhD, and Chief Assist. Prof. Georgi Bakyov, PhD – as well as doctoral students.
