Competitions for the academic position of "Chief Assist. Prof." in professional field 3.6. Law

The Institute for the State and the Law at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences announces competitions for the academic position of Chief Assistant Professor in area of higher education 3. Social, Economic and Legal Sciences, professional field 3.6. Law:

• one in Private International Law, for the needs of the Department of International Law;
• one in Criminal Procedure, for the needs of the Department of Criminal Law.

The announcement was published in the State Gazette, issue 3 of 8 January 2019.

Candidates for "Chief Assistant Professor" must meet the following requirements (Art. 69, para. 3 of the Regulations on the Conditions and Procedure for Acquiring Scientific Degrees and Holding Academic Positions at the ISL at the BAS):

to hold the educational and scientific degree "Doctor of Law", to have at least three years of professional experience in the specialty and at least five publications in specialised scientific journals.

Candidates for participation in the competition submit an application for admission, accompanied by the following documents (Art. 69, para. 6):

• 1. a curriculum vitae in the European format;
• 2. a diploma for the educational and scientific degree "Doctor of Law";
• 3. a medical certificate;
• 4. a certificate of criminal record;
• 5. a certificate of at least three years of professional experience in the specialty;
• 6. a list of publications and applied research works and a list of citations;
• 7. a statement of compliance with the minimum national requirements under Art. 2b, paras. 2 and 3 of the ADASRB, and with the requirements of the ISL, accompanied by the relevant supporting evidence.
