Competition for the academic position of "Chief Assist. Prof." in professional field 3.6. Law

The Institute for the State and the Law at the BAS announces a competition for the academic position in the area of higher education 3. Social, Economic and Legal Sciences, professional field 3.6. Law, of: Chief Assist. Prof. – one position, in criminal law, for the needs of the Department of Criminal Law.

The announcement was published in the State Gazette, issue 84 of 25 October 2019.

The candidate for "Chief Assist. Prof." must meet the following requirements (Art. 69, para. 3 of the Regulations on the Conditions and Procedure for Acquiring Scientific Degrees and Holding Academic Positions at the ISL at the BAS):

to hold the educational and scientific degree "Doctor of Law", to have at least three years of professional experience in the specialty and at least five publications in specialised scientific publications.

Candidates for participation in the competition submit an application for admission, accompanied by the following documents (Art. 69, para. 6):

1. curriculum vitae in the European format;

1. diploma for the educational and scientific degree "Doctor of Law";

1. medical certificate;

1. certificate of criminal record;

1. certificate of at least three years of professional experience in the specialty;

1. list of publications and applied scientific works and list of citations;

2. a statement of compliance with the minimum national requirements under Art. 2b, paras. 2 and 3 of the ADASRB, and respectively with the requirements of the ISL, accompanied by the relevant supporting evidence.

Deadline for submission of documents – two months from the date of publication in the State Gazette. Documents are accepted at the office of the ISL-BAS, Sofia, 4 Serdika Street, 3rd floor, tel. 02/987 4902.
